The Black Sumatra came from the Island of Sumatra which is in far Southeast Asia. This is a fowl of graceful form and has a low long flowing tail with lustrous greenish black plumage. Noted for multiple spurs that appear on the males and black skin on the face area. This breed was admitted into the American Standard of Perfection in 1883.
